This is my own webpage dedicated to my hobby - deep-sky observation, amateur astronomy. In connection with deepeye.hu everything has been done by me. Namely:

  • Website design
  • Programming: content management system (dotfsCMS), design implementation, interactive SVG form
  • Content

The challange - concerning the design - was to present the generally not so spectacular greyscale drawings in a way that they stand out of the page and attract attention.

There is also an interactive form useful to the amateur astronomical community: a Saturn observation form. This uses javascript and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) and it is so far the only general solution to the given problem that I know of.
